What if my salary decreased from current £35,000 to £31,00

Would my employer have to notify the UKBA and would I need to go through another labour market test and change of employment procedure? I thought there were cases where if the salary didn't change too much or more than 30 percent, there would be no need for a change of employment application.

This would be due to my TUPE protection running out on the 31 March 2013. Our organisation changed ownership. However, I just applied for ILR via post on the 5 September and worried that the application may have got lost.
