British spouse visiting denmark

Hi all,

I want to know if my wife who holds a two years wife visa can return to the uk without me after visiting Denmark. Baring in mind that visa regulation only permits her to enter Denmark if she is companied with her British spouse. How about on the way back can she still come back without me or do I have to be with her as well.

What are your plans about remaining in Denmark? Do you plan to return to the UK?

our plan is to go for a holiday there but i have to come back before my wife as i have work here and she will be staying for few days and come back after me. Would they ask her why i am not with her when leaving the airport from denmark? and how about when she gets here I wont be able to be at the airport neither would they need me there?

Does you wife require a visa to travel to Schengen?

if she is travelling with me no she does not requier a visa if by herself then she does but that to enter there and not to leave there of course

She probably does require a visa. Just being married to you does not change that.

And if you are planning to travel apart, then it would be a good idea to get the visa as proof that she is family of an EU citizen.
