Hey just need a little bit of info,

my husband got his rc last month which is great , we have now found out that im 2 months preg and due in june 2012, at the min i only work 15 hrs per week and coming to june will either have to leave as my work in nights and it wont be possible with a baby or take some maternity leave and see what my options are, am i still exercing my rights by this and how do i prove it as i will have to keep 5 years of evidence for ee3.

any info will be gratful.xx

If you are an employee, then you are entitled to Statutory Maternity Leave. This is important for your purposes because if you are on Maternity Leave, then you are still employed (and therefore a worker) during your leave period.

You may also be entitled to Statutory Maternity Pay, or Maternity Allowance, depending on your length of service and other factors.
