help needed on mother visting visa...

I am on tier 1 general my wife is preganant and her due date is JAN 9th,12.I want to aplly for her visiting visa.
My mother is completely independent. She can sponsor her trip completely.She is maintaining 6000£ from 1 year in her bank acct. Do I still need to sponsor her? As I have less sal paid to my bank , will she be granted visa?IF so can anyone please provide me format letter to apply.
what doc shouild i provide..
