ILR for Tier 1: earnings

Post by yucca » Sun Dec 04, 2011 11:31 am

Hi,

I used to be a work permit holder and then I switched to Tier 1.
I hope to apply to ILR some time soon.

3 questions regarding the earnings:

1. are criteria the same as for current Tier 1 applications? Info in SET-O guide is very sparse and Tier 1 guide is very clear and detailed.

2. Does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signing_bonus count?

3. If I have revenues from several sources, can I still apply in person?

Thanks!

1. The earning criteria for ILR under Tier 1 G, are almost the same as extension. or entry clearance.

2. If it is taxable and you have got relevant documents issued by company and the money was transfered in bank then yes, you can use this as a part of your earning.

3. Yes you can, provided you have got all the required evidence for each source of earnings e.g, payslips, bank statements, invoices, contracts, managing agent OR accountants letter etc.
The question is... to be or not to be....
