Post by 1980mohan » Thu Dec 15, 2011 4:46 pm

I am planning to bring my parents to UK, they are living at the moment in India. My wife is pregenant, her due in April

Which visa can I apply Family or Vistor visa?
My parents are not employed and have only property?
Does they need to show any bank statement or Can I support my bank statement to sponser my parents? How much I have to show for maintenance fund ?

They need a family visitor visa. You have to submit your application on VAF1B Form.

Its always good that they have some money in thier bank account. Atleast, for their shopping etc. If you attached your employment documents along with the bank statement, this will help them. In addition to this, you need sponsorship letter. In that letter you can quote that you are sponsoring them and will take care of all their expenses.
The question is... to be or not to be....
