Wait for a few days then call up 0044 114 207 4074. they will ask your ref number, date of birth and full name.

well i applied frm pakistan..
Application sent on 9th August
Recieved by HO on 11th August
Now i still saiting for my reference number as till they didn't charge a FEE

I submitted my HSMP application on 31st July 2006 reached on 2nd August, CC Charged same day, till now i didn't get my reference number.

I am confused about my payslips, I attached the payslip for June 2006 and i posted my applicaiton on 31st July, till that time i was not having the pay slip for July 2006, We normally get pay slip within first week of the month.

Now the HSMP Team received my application on 2nd August, will they accept it without the July payslip or shall i send it now via normal mail, or could you please tell me what is the courier address to send the additional document as they don't accept it on P.O. Box. numbers.

Second problem since i didn't get my reference number how i will relate my additional document to my case,

If i wait until the reference numbers comes then it may be too late as it will take about 7 to 10 days via normal mail to reach there.

Kindly advise urgently

you can call up for ref num.

Only after you get the ref num post it as additional doc. Since there is time between allotment of ref num and caseworker it'll reach them before case is assigned

No need to worry.. Case workers are sensible persons..so no need to worry about the pay slip of last month. I also didn't send my pay slip of July...As I applied on 09 - Aug and till then my company didn't provided me tha pay slip

I sent my applictaion on 9-Aug which was recieved on 11-Aug.. Uptill now they didnt charge their fee.. I am unable to understand why its getting late.. can anyone help me in this regard..wat to do ???????????????????????????

No case worker assigned yet. Going by previous posts, its taking approximately 3 weeks to reach case-worker. So, end of this month probably it will cross the queue.

I just called again and she told me that case is not assigned to a caseworker yet and b4 they told me it is assigned.

It is quite strange.

Some facts I got from HSMP CS today.

Reference no. is given as soon as HSMP team receives your application. It may not be communicated to you for a while, unless you ask for it.

So, reference no. allotment is not an intermediate step, as thought by majority of applicants.

It is amazing that i called on 18th aug and they told me that case worker is assigned but no name of case worker and after that i called twice, they told me no caseworker and again called they told me same caseworker is assigned.

there r so many contradictions in their answer.
anyone experienced it.
how long it takes to assigned to a caseworker.

Hello Friends,
I applied for HSMP (under 28) from India and all the docs reached 31st July as per DHL
The Credit Card was charged on 1st August….
I got reply from the Home office about the ref. no. 080xxx on 12th Aug. that my application was received on 1st august so do I have to again submit the salary slip for the month of July or not… please let me know that if hey don’t find the salary slip for the month of July then will they reject my application or not…. Please reply to this msg. it’s URGENT…. My application is still under process and I got the mail that it’s still under consideration.

Please reply me urgently that what should I do now…..

I don't think we need to submit current month's statement, if we can't. I guess HSMP team just wants to ascertain your annual income and pay-slips are just an indication. Morever, when you submit tax returns as another proof, it is covered only till end of financial year, which may not be the latest date.

well.. My application was returned on 19-Aug due to some payment issue so I again sent it on 21-Aug now on 23-Aug they have charged my credit card..Now I m thinking to email them for my reference number.....
But One thing I want to share

When our application reached to HO they unpin the first page (Payment Details) and assigned a computerized number to it and after succesfull payment transfer they send it another depatrment where the person unpin the second page and assign a REFERENCE NUMBER to our case depends on QUEUE then the file again goes to QUEUE for the Case Worker in the third depatment so we cant relay on any thing payment depatment is seperate .. Refernce department is seperate so it all depends on Queue...You cant judge the process time after Assigning of Ref.Number and regarding my past experience let me tell you that for my previous application I sent my application on 26-May.They charged the payment on 02-June...Email me the reference number on 11-June that they have recieved my application and on 12-June I got my refusal letter and documents back so it was a surperise for me..

So just be calm down and relax...
