How to find how much funds I showed in 2010 to get Tier 1

Post by manuce » Tue Jan 03, 2012 2:07 pm

Hello,

Some of my friends have asked me this question, as they got their first leave to remain under Tier 1 (general) for a period of three years in March 2010. At that time the threshold to show the salary scale based on age was different.

Is there a place where they can go and check old salary scales based on ages so that they and show the same amount when they go for their extension for another two years.

Thanks.

They should fall under the same rules as when they got the first leave. In the Tier-1 extension form, it asks you when was your first leave granted. So there is a table depending on when your first leave was granted.

I believe a similar thing can be done using the points calculator found on the UKBA website.

That’s true and the point based calculator on UKBA site can also be used at the time of ILR applications as since 6th of April 2011, ILR has become point based too (and there is no separate calculator for ILR applications at the moment).

You are welcome. Here is another useful link for you if you want to accurately add or subtract a date.
