Tier 1 General (Maintenance Fund)

I have to apply for Tier 1 (general) Extension in March. I have my account in HSBC bank. The account type is 'HSBC Advance Bank Account'. I just wanted to know whether or not I can show the maintenance in this account type. I'm confused with the term 'Online saver Bank' as some people have used that term for bank account.
