when is your spouse coming to the UK? How long has she been outside the UKmaxiy wrote:Dear Casa,
Thank you for your reply and all the information.
But for my Case my Spouse is not already living in the UK.
permanently living in Egypt but he will move after we got the Visa, do in this case she will need to be with me
for the 1st time.
Or they will not ask where is your spouse, Could I say she will be coming in another flight soon or what.
Kindly, Advice.
Also, what kind of papers they might ask for.
Thank you Indeed.
A person granted any visa may have to prove on entry that they are still entitled to that visa. If a holder of a spouse visa turns up on his own and is not joining his spouse in the UK, he can be refused entry.harv wrote:Hi Maxiy
If you are granted the Spouse VISA then obviously you are cleared of entering the UK. However when it comes to whether you need to be with you Spouse or not, its entirely your choice. However if your Spouse is already in the UK that would be a big plus, otherwise their could be some confusions or misunderstandings.
Take all the documents with you, you used to get the Spouse VISA. Also make sure you know some information by heart i.e. your spouse date of birth, where you first met, date of marriage and basic questions like these. If any problems you would have all your evidence with you to show to the immigration officer.
Hopefully you should be fine.
i have already answered your question, I think you are looking for a different answer. If your wife is not travelling with you, or already in the UK, you could be refused entry.maxiy wrote:Dear Greenie,
She will Join me for sure (Insha'Allah) but the problem that I want first to travel on my own.
Do this could make a problem or no, or nothing will happen unless they suspect me at the Border.
We both will book for a Flight once the Visa is granted but I want to travel alone and then she join me later.
Do you have real experience about this situation.
You may be able to stand in the UK one, if you travel together. Different places do it differently just ask on arrival. You will be able to enter on your own later and live in the UK if your spouse is living in the UK and does not remain based abroad.maxiy wrote:Thank you Casa and Greenie.
You are right , I won't take the risk after all this money paid and time lost.
So after the 1st time, everything will be fine and I can enter on my own with no problems, that's right.
Last question, so I will need to be the UK/EU queue together with her.
