Withdraw OCI application & Documents to submit

Hi,

I have applied for my OCI in sri lanka. They have sent my birth certificate for verification and it is over 4 months and they have not yet responded to me.

I want to withdraw the application and apply directly in India. Is it possible?

Also, when I am submitting my birth certificate in India.. do I have to attest it or something to prove it is legal? what should i do?

Please reply.. :)
