PEO Appointment on 27th Jan 2012 - Are these Documents ok?

Post by Daphne_ZA » Sun Jan 15, 2012 11:09 pm

My husband is applying for ILR under the old Work Permit (Closed Category). I will be applying as a dependant. These are the documents we will be taking with us:

SET (O) (Version 10/2011)

Section 4 - Knowledge of Life in the UK
Life in the UK Pass Notification

Section 5 – Home and Finances
Recent Payslip
3 Months HSBC Bank Statement
3 Months Barclays Bank Statement (Joint Account)
Tenancy Agreement

Section 10A – Dependant Documents for 2 years co-habitation
Marriage Certificate
Tenancy Agreement (July 2008 – May 2010)
Barclays Bank Statement Joint Account (Feb 2010)
Tenancy Agreement (May 2010 – May 2011)
Council Tax Bill Hounslow (June 2010)
Electoral Roll Change of Address (July 2010)
Council Tax Bill Hounslow (March 2011)
Thames Water Bill (Oct 2011)

Section 10B – Continuous 5 years as Work Permit Holder
Work Permit Document
HMCR Employment History for 5 years

Section 10B – Employment & Salary
Letter from Employer
Most Recent Payslip
Most Recent Bank Statement

Will these (along with passports & photo's) be ok? I have been over thinking things a bit lately. Do they ever force you to prove why you chose
a specific SOC code? As Hubby is on old work permit we had to find a SOC code to match his job. Should we take a CV, and print off of SOC code job details? Don't know if they ever check this.

They look OK to me IMHO. How about absences? How many are they? Also, have you checked how many points is your husband able to score in various categories? I don't think they would question your choice of SOC code but the language used in the employer letter is the key. You husband's designation and profile must match/sound similar to the code description.

Hi Malepiscean,

Thanks for the reply.

We are well below the allowed absences, so we have filled them out on the application form. All of the absences fit in the allocated space, so no worries there.

As my husband is under the old work permit route he does not have to score any points in various categories. We are able to leave out the entire section 9 on the SET (O) form.

I think the employer letter we will use it ok. I posted it on this forum before (http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... highlight=).

Thanks again for the reply. I think we are all good to go now!! :)
