original docs backed

hi
i chose a solicitor and he sent my docs in june.
after 3-4 weeks they sent him back the originals + ref. no.
but still no news of the result.
i got confused.
shall i still wait ?

listen!!! Original documents are only returned when the decision has been made;

I assume either your payment is still due to consultant that's why he didn't hand over your decision to you.
or
ur case has been refused and he will apply for reviews.

but i have paid money to solisitor and HO.
and they have not sent any result.
the solicitor told has kept docs. just in case if they refused us she wants to ask for review.
i really don't understand what to do.
