ilr changes

Hi every1
i have just read that ilr will b included in the new biometric system as frm 29feb.My question is i got my ilr last year june will that change apply to me as i am travelling and coming back on in march. Will io give me a hard time.sorry if it sounds like a stupid question.

It won’t have any affect on existing ILRs. You can carry your current passport for the rest of your life (even after it expires, your can carry it with the new passports).

It would only apply people applying for ILR on or after 29th Feb 2012.
