ILR for HSMP covered by JR Survey

Post by khalidmirza » Fri Jan 20, 2012 6:17 am

Hi all forum friends

I would like to get feedback from all those migrants who came to UK before Nov 2006 and covered by JR of Apr 2008 and Apr 2009. My assessment is that there would be very few cases now in this category as by Nov 2011 everybody should have been issued ILR. If there are any friends left or having any problems in this category, please indicate the reasons so we should find solution for those still waiting for ILR

I go my initial HSMP back in Sep-2006. Got entry clearance valid from 19-JAN-2007, but landed in the UK in first week of April-2007. Will be applying for ILR in 2nd week of March-2012 (current leave is valid till 05-APR-2012).

There will also be people who are not eligible for ILR due to absences, who will be applying for ILR much later. (Like me.)

I got my HSMP in October 2006 and landed in the UK mid of Feb 2007. I'm applying for ILR in person next week hoping for it to be straight forward case. I'll update this post after I attend my appointment next week.

Dear All

I am sure you all will get ILR. You all must be very knowledgeable about this category. Please keep copies of Policy document on Jr of Apr 2008/Apr 2009.As a suggestion do collect all paperwork but limit yourself to the following documents for submission
1 3 Months pay slips
2 3 months bank statement
3 Employment letter just stating date of start, nature of job(No need requirement in future or any codes etc) You should be in employment or self employment
4 P60 for previous years
5 Cohabitation documents from 3 different sources
6 Spread sheet for absences( Include employer letter in case of business trips if absences above 180 days)
7 Your partner need not meet 2 years requirement as you are covered by JR
8 You are also covered by JR in case of conviction(But pl do declare it)

Hi Khalid,

Thanks for this. It is a big help that you listed actually the documents mentioning the period they should cover. I was quite confused about photocopying all last 5 years pay slips, bank statements etc. :)

Can you also mention how many years period cohabitation documents from 3 different sources should cover? The easiest ones for me are last 5 years council tax bills & tenancy agreements of all residences we used in last 5 years.

Also, what do you mean by exemption from 2 years requirement's for dependents covered by JR?

Many thanks again.
Regards,

ideally 2 years cohabitation period. However JR cases do not need to be together for 2 years in marriage relationship. Policy documents states dependents follw thw the main applicant

Hi Khalid Mirza,

I am on HSMP JR due to apply within this month. I have collected the documents but there is a problem with one of my dependent passport, that is expired. I have applied for a new passport but it is still waiting after now 3 weeks. I have an appointment booked at PEO that is very close to my current leave expiry date. Please could you advice how should I proceed if I dont get new passport on time. Please note now its biometric, is there still a requirement to have current passport?

Regards
