Urgent help

Post by doubletrouble » Sun Aug 20, 2006 3:30 pm

i have got hsmp approval. i problem is kinda weird hope someone will be able to help me.

i was convicted for traffic offence (non criminal) which went thru court and got points in my licence and fine. I had applied for hsmp and had not mentioned my offence as it only asked for "any crimnal or civil offence" not traffice offence. I have recently got my CRB back as per their advice i did mentioned my offence but it came back without any records in my CRB. on enquiring they mentioned the offence i commited was non recordable and will not appear in police national computer. Now as I am applying for FLR(IED) i found very confusing statement in application form which states

40. Do you have any criminal convictions in UK or any other country (including traffic offences) or any other civil judgement made against you?

I am not sure if the above statement is only for crimnal traffic offence like causing death by dangerous driving, or driving with excess alcohol etc.

Should I mention or not?

Considering no records in CRB and not mentioning in HSMP which I already have an approval?

Please Help

Speeding offences are criminal, parking offences arent.

Fixed penalty speeding tickets are not (provided it does not go to court).
