Hi AB10,

Congrats, I have few queries on SET (O) Application form, hope you can clarify...

(1) On Page 20 of SET (O) Form, for Question D1, do we have to tick YES ?

Reason: By the time we are applying for ILR, we wouldn't be completing 5 years, isn't it? If so, then how can we tick YES for this question?

Thanks in advance.

Hi AB10 and Dear Members,

Congrats buddy! I'm also on the work permit old style with the same employer from the past five years. I wonfder if you could please answer few queries and share your experience in detail at Glasgow.

As I only have Joint account bank statement with my wifes name and GP letters along with tenancy agreement, will that be sufficient for Cohabitation documents under Set(O).

I'm planning to take following documents for same day application;-

1. SET(O) application form
2. LIUK pass certificate for both of us
3. Payslips 6 months
4. Bank statements - 6 months
5. Employer letter including SOC
6. P60's - last five years
6. COhab documents - mentioned above

Can you please suggest any other documents required for ILR application under Work permit category?

I'm also planning to apply at Glasgow PEO. Please share your experience in detail at the PEO including caseworkers etc.

Regarding Cohab documents , i just took last 2 years Council tax statements and GP letters.

I have been asked only the documents which i have mentioned.
you require only 3 months payslips and bank statements.

Submit only documents which are mandatory however it is wise to take all the documents as backup.

Case worker was very friendly.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck

Hi there,
I applied for ILR through a OICC registered consultant who went to Liverpool to get it done as there was an slot available there.
I got my passport with the ILR Permit on it.
(the took away my old Resident permit ID card)

My question is,
This time, there was no Covering Letter from the HMRC saying "Here is your ILR approved...."

Was it the same for you guys?
Did you get a covering letter
My consultant who applied said that now they dont give such letters...but I just wanted to double check with you all.
