How long does it take to get a work permit or HSMP

Hi,

I am a new member in this forum.
I am in UK now.
I can stay in UK till November.
I am trying for the work permit.
If I start from now How long does it take to get a work permit or HSMP?
And can somebdoy suggest me the urls to get the processing done smoothly.

And what do you mean by this???

If i understand you rquestion correctly , these are my answers:

1. Use this site/forum (you know the URL already!) - You can collect various members information from this site's knowledgebase and apply for HSMP yourself (But of course, if you are looking for "Work permit", then that needs to be applied by your prospective employer though!)

2. One other URL is: www.workpermit.com - the host of this message board But if it is HSMP, you can apply by yourself, if you get the neccessary score/points.

It depends on your circumstances. And I believe nobody could give you a definite answer based on the limited information that you provided in your previous Post.

If it is a well known multi national company in the UK is sponsoring you for work permit. It is just a metter of days you will get.

HSMP could take months sometimes more than 6 months. All depends on your supporting document you attach and your circumstances.
