Tier 1 General Extention Delay

Hi,
I applied for my Tier 1 General extension with 3 dependents.

I sent my initial application which was returned back stating that there was not enough funds in the bank account , My immigration consultant sent the application back with the evidence that there was enough funds available in the bank at the time when UKBA tried to take payment.

I received the new acknowledgement letter on 05/12/12 and I went for my Biometric with my family to Liverpool on 16th Dec . It been a long time since then I havent heard anything from the Home office and I am really concerned , can any one please give me any suggestions what could be the possible reason for delay.
