Sworn Affidavit for Minor's Passport (India)

Post by TP2012 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 11:58 am

My wife is currently in India and has been asked to obtain a Sworn affidavit (since im residing in the UK) for applying for a passport for our newborn.

Since I cannot go to the Consulate in person, Would they accept a notarized Affidavit and my passport copy sent to the Consulate for attestation by post?
Is there any other requirement?
