I'm about to invite my parents to the UK as family visitors. Among the documents I need to provide is 'a Home Office letter confirming permission to stay in the UK'.
If I have a visa and provide a copy of it, do I still need to obtain that letter? Is it just one of the options I have to prove my immigration status in the UK or is it a compulsory document that has to go along with others. If I do need it how do I apply for such a letter?
Thank you very much for your help!
