Is there a maintenance requirement - Tier 1 to ILR

T1 1 march 09
Due ILR 1march 12

Salary 65k proof available.
In stable job- letter from employer
Homeowner

No problem scoring 90 points of required 75

Problem: my account has dipped to £200 twice over Christmas and new year and would not meet min 800 requirement. Is this a must? Will they consider exceptional circumstances I.e funeral expenses over Xmas?

I know it's a req for extension but it is not scored for ILR application-

Are there ways around this?

Wife a Brit but changing to spouse visa would delay ILR I think.

I have read settlement- it does say use points based calculator but points will not be awarded for english or maintenance funds. Do u agree there is nothing specifying a maintenance requirement but both docs specify a earnings requirement.

Has anyone written to u vinnie after refusal for settlement based on funds alone? Please refer me to this so i can see how this can be overcome.
