Inviting parents for a visit just before visa expiry

Post by coolguycp1 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 10:47 pm

One of my friends is inviting his parents for a visit in March until mid-June for the first time. However, his visa runs out at end of June 2012, and he is worried that his parents may be refused the family visitor visa because their return is very close to his visa expiry date. His parents have bought a return air-ticket from India to UK and they plan to attach the same to their visa application as a proof of their intention to return home at the end of their trip.

My friend has enough points to extend his Tier 1 visa in June, keeping this and the above statements in mind, does he need to take any further steps to ensure his parents receive their visa?

Lucapooka,

Sorry but I could not get your drift. Did you say that there will not be any issues in getting the visa?

Thanks

Yes, in response to your negative closed question (= Yes, I did imply there will not be any problems).
