Query+Help

Post by chan0976 » Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:09 am

Hi,

I am on a Tier2 (ICT) issued on Sep 2010 and valid till Aug - 2012. I have applied for Tier1 on Nov 2010 and it was rejected on Jan 2011.

I have been travelling back and forth the country and everytime at the port of entry I am stopped as there is an alarm set on my passport(I guess) and I would have to explain that I have applied for Tier 1 and it was rejected.

I am planning on travelling outside the country again for a week and since my Tier 2 visa validity is less than 6months,is it possible that I be stopped at the port of entry and not permitted to enter into the country.

Response is highly appreciated.

Regards

As long as you have a valid visa while you are traveling, you should not be disallowed. I have traveled back to the Uk with only 2 months of visa left with the intention of extending it and I was allowed in.
