Spouse visa fees in Mumbai

Post by nosah » Sat Feb 25, 2012 7:48 pm

Hi

My husband went to standard chartered bank in Mumbai to pay spouse visa fee but they said they do not do it for spouse visa they only do it for visit visa! I am really confused whereby in the home office website they mention this bank where he can pay the fees. Please could someone help me how we can pay the fee now?

Also my husband pass the English exam with 88% Merit 2 marks only from distinction. Is it ok to print out his marks from
Cambridge website and attach it with the documents or he has to wait for the original certificate as it will take up to 4 weeks to be posted.
I will always love you habiby

Applied for spouse visa 30 May
Ready for collection 16 Aug
Visa stamped 15 Aug

Thanks God

Hi nosah

As far as I know you need to go to the VFS office and pay the fees when submitting your application, that is what I did when I applied from Delhi.

I would recommend waiting for the certificate because ECO's usually do not accept anything other then original certificates of qualifications.

Hi

You should call the VFS call centre, they should be able to give you the correct answers to your specific questions.
