HCI London - re-issue of passport

Dear Friends,

After looking at some folks getting their visa renewed in 5-7 working days, I was confident that I can also get the similar time scales. I applied for the re-issues of passport(expires june2012), today. The gentlemen in the counter said that it will take 1 month. He wrote one month in my receipt and wrote 5/march/2012 in another piece of paper and attached it to the Form. He asked me to keep checking with the HCI for the exact date. I did not want to change address or name or anything!! Do HCI usually give you a date to collect or is this the same process for everyone? I am planning to travel after Easter, Please advice!!

They will write a collection date on receipt.
