Advice required

Hi All,

1. I had started work even before i finshed my bachelor degree - will it be counted as graduate level experience?

2. Department Head in my previous company, who provided me with the work experience letter few months ago has left that company and joined another company. Other collegues were not happy about me leaving the company, so i did not leave in good terms with them, Supposing HSMP caseworker calls up the company to verify the reference and if someone screws up, will it have an impact? ..did any one have such experiences? do the case workers actually call up to verify your references?
