Tax credit application

Hi

I dont know if it is normal or only with me

I applied (sent docs through normal post) a month ago for child tax credit.

Still I have not received any reply, confirmation, communication.

Please advice what should i do, Still I havnt applied for child benefit as i dont have kids birth certificates with me (sent with MN1) but applied for child tax credit as original docs are not required (i dont know if i m right)

We applied for ctc & wtc on nov 2011 & still haven't received the money yet. You can call them & ask the progress of ur claim.

Do u have ur kids short form birth certificate? Or did u send both. If u have the short one u can send it to child benefit.

Thanks, just got kids birth certificates back and sending short one for child benefits and detailed for passport
