Post by Selvi » Wed Mar 07, 2012 6:11 pm

Could anyone please confirm, whether the "Visa issue date" and "Valid from Date" in Visa page is same?, If not how to find the Visa issue date.

Is this mandatory field to fill in the application form : Page No 20 (D3)

They are the same in a case when the applicant, while making the original application mentioned that they need to travel immediately.

They are different in a case when the applicant, while making the original application mentioned that they will travel at a later date. For example a visa can be issued in Jan 2009 but could have a start date 1st June 2009.

No one can actually prove what the original issue date was(unless UKBA checks old records), so use the visa start date as the visa issue date to avoid any confusion.
