I can't find info on that either. The form to be filled out doesn't ask for evidence.

I'm planning on submitting a request for urgent treatment and submitting my travel itinerary showing that I will be going to the UK in the next few weeks. However, my trip isn't actually "urgent," I just happen to be going to the UK. Figured it would save me a few weeks of worrying to submit it this way, though.

Job offer is a good proof that why you are seeking urgent treatment.
This is evidence. It should be enough.

But do they actually *ask* for evidence anywhere? I understand that one should submit evidence to be safe, but is there anywhere you can direct me to that they actually ask for it?

You nwill need evidence for urgent treatment. JOb offer is a good reason for that, but you need to show evedince that you have been offered the job. I think expecting a job offer it will not be enough.

You might ask urgent tretment in the following circumstances:

-You have urgent travel commitments;
-You require urgent medical treatment;
-You have received an offer of employment;
-You have other exceptional circumstances.

You will be required to complete an HSMP Urgent Treatment form

You want to askfor urgent treatment, indeed it is your right, noboby could dter you of doing that. But whether they will consider it without evidence is another matter.

Use your commen sense and put yourself in case worker's shoes. If someone submits urgent treatment without any proof/evidence of urgency, are you going to consider it ?

If everybody could ask for urgent treatment without substantial evidence what left then??, What is the point to offer urgent treatment ?? How to maintain application processing time fairly ?
