Absence from the UK

Post by Keyrun » Wed Mar 14, 2012 10:47 am

Hi,

My total number of days of absence from the UK are 103 days in last 5 years and no absence is more than 90.

I have filled in the section 6.2 in the set(o) form with all the details. Do I still have to take a spreadsheet or some sort of document to support it or just the details in set(O) is enough.

Thanks in advance
Regards, Kiran

As your absences are within the allowed limit, you don’t need to explain anything else and a separate spreadsheet is not needed in your case. Just fill 6.2 and it should be enough.

Might not hurt to be prepared and have a spreadsheet though, just in case :)

Thanks linkers and goldfish.

I have a quick question. The passport never tells when someone leaves the UK, how do they actually check when the person left the UK.

Only the entry is stamped when you arrive in the UK. There is no way to tell when the person left the country.

Regards, Kiran

By all means the UKBA do have records of your exit from the data they are given by Airlines ... so you be careful when you mention the dates ...
