Calling Patants as Dependent

Hello All,

I received my ILR in December 2011.
Now I want to call my parants who are above 65 years as my dependent.
One of my friend told me that rules will change from April 2012 , so apply before April 2012.
Please could you share any related information .

Think you may be confusing the proposed changes for spouses.

Sorry I am wrong did not realise the consultation included over 65 year old relatives. Ignore the above

other dependent relatives are also part of the consultation. the changes are unlikely to come into force in April though.
