Maintenance sponsored by a family member living in the UK

Hi, I am planning to get the TIER 4 visa, but I have a question about the maintenance (or funds) I have to prove.

I know that the monthly maintenance is 800 pounds. My course lasts 9 months, so I should have 7200 pounds just for that.

The fact is I would live in my brother's home. He lives legally in Derby, and I wouldn't need so much money for living costs. Do anyone know if he could "sponsor" me? Isn't there a way we can prove that he will pay por my maintenance? This would help me a lot, cause I wouldn't need so much money for the UKBA approve my visa.

No. You need to show you have that amount of maintenance irrespective of your actual and eventual needs. Only your parents or guardian may stand in for your financial sponsorship.
