I have read the new policy guidance of tier 2 gen that will be in force on and after 6 April 2012. I have seen that the 6 month restriction is removed (where the sponsor is exempted from the Resident Market Test if a PSW migrant work more than 6 month). After 6 April 2012 there will be no such restriction. Is this true?

Yes its true but still the other rules for tier 2 applies.

I believe they are also looking at reinstating the maintenance funds. Which means from 6th April 2012 anyone switching from PSW to Tier 2 will have to have £900 in their account for 90 days immediately before the application.
