If someone is an overstayer and are in the process of preparing to travel to their home country to apply for a spouse visa is it wise to gather 'job offers'?
I was wondering if it would help to show my cv and the possible jobs availabe to me upon returning to the uk with permission to work. I'm just very worried about proving that we will be ok for money.
As it stands my husband and I have lived perfectly fine without public funds but I know they want to see above and beyond that when making a decision.
If I were to get any job offers will it be seen as though I've been soliciting work illegaly? I have not worked a single day while I have been in the UK and have not even received money for babysitting anyone's kids or selling any old items in a garage sale. I really haven't broken that specific rule so I don't want to jeopordise it by poking around into the job market and have it be seen as though I was looking for work before I was allowed to do so.
There is one other side to my question. I am a writer but have not established myself as such in another country enough to be considered a 'writer' under imigration standards. If while in the UK I have an offer to publish my work will that be seen as working ilegally? Of course if the offer is to publish in return for payment that is. I have material that could be, but I'm hesitant because I don't want to receive any money and talk to up our application. I rather leave it or wait until I get back with a proper spouse visa.
I just wondered if that might also help to show interest in my work and that I could make money off of it. It may help our application but it may hurt it. I don't know which is best.
