No stamp + Date of entry

I would appreciate some help.

I am planning to apply for ILR-10 years.

I first arrived in the UK in 1995 to study A-Levels, and then University.

I went back to my home country to visit my family in Oct 2001. Whilst I was there I took the opportunity to renew my visa at the British High Commission. It said "Valid from 4 April 2001".

I then flew back to the UK a few days later. I just realised that the Immigration Officer did not stamp my passport on arrival. So I do not know the exact date of me entering the country.

I need to know the date, as this will be used as the beginning of my 10 years countback.

Is there anyway I can find out?

Thanks.

p/s: I did not keep the boarding pass for my flight.
