Hi guys, just want to sample people's opinion here. Officially, IPS says expect, upon successful interview, to receive your passport between 10 and 12 days. I, however, wish those who've passed through this stage could share with others the number of days (roughly or precisely) between your passport interview and passport delivery. In other words, how long did you have to wait, after your First Passport Application Interview, before receiving your First British passport, ever?

Just check the timeline sticky.

The passports are normally printed on the same day of the interview and then it depends more on the courier company than IPS but usually takes 3-4 days.
