ILR 10 years rules - HO Checks ? urgent please

Post by smk199 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 2:04 pm

Hi

I have applied under 10 years rules on 25 march 2012

I have one concern please explain....!

5 years student + 5 years HSMP
no gaps, no overstay, no CCJ (county court judgement)
No criminal offence.

i remember in 2006/07 i was unable to pay back my loan and credit card payments, but i applied for IVA solution, but not even completed that IVA for 5 years. i was unable to pay and its cancled.
i checked with credit report there is no CCJ against me, but default account is showing. credit card payment and loan when i asked customer service at credit report they say no CCJ against me.

but if i go bankcrupt in past, will it be an issue for me to get ILR ?
I heard HO will check criminal records, traffic offences, over stays, gaps etc.. but what about bankcrupt?
Please Seniors Explain .....?

Hi

I am just sharing my knowledge with you if you have gone bank corrupt in the past it wont affect your ILR in any ways. But I think it'll affect your process of Naturalization as a British Citizen.

As I've mentioned above that I am just sharing my knowledge which is not 100% concrete or sure about it.

I believe that a reply from the Moderators of this forum will be much more helpfull for you.

Good luck for your ILR.
