Urgent - HSMP doubts, sure this doubts helps others aswell

Post by kck9 » Tue Sep 12, 2006 3:46 pm

Hello everyone,

I am an in country applicant, planning to apply. I have completed my Pg certificate, Pg Diploma, Masters in UK, but before that I use to work in my home country. as it is going long back I suspect the company that I was working is closed. Also I got those ld references which they have given me at that time, but I haven't got any recent letters. I tried to contact but the numbers has been changed looks like. I got all other things like payslips, income tax letter but not the recent letter confirming my experience and a contact person in India.

So could any one suggests me which is the best way to explain them. Also I want to know whether the case workers are tryin to call abroad employers to verify. If so, where they are looking for the contact details as there is no column in the application for employers telephone number. Are they looking at the letterheads?

Now with my situation I don't know how can I get through this, bcas I got everythin else but just the employers reference. All the documents are completely guinine stuff.

So please help me by posting your valuable ideas.

Thanx[/b]

Dear kck9

I understand your problem, however normally work experience letter alone is not good enough. If you read in the previous posting you will see this.

This is particularly true if you do not work in the well known MNC.

In the past, quite reasonable number of work experience letter cannot be verified. These people make you difficult. The caseworker is now aware that in some countries you could easily get work experience letter without necessary ever involve in that job.

Maybe you should view this post http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=9864 Some common issues (company shut down), so a look might be useful.

Thank you so much for your valuable replies. I kept the payslips, tax returns and the tax compliance (form16) letters, with the company letters. So I hopt it is ok, even if the company is closed.

What do you guys say? Also are they calling the previous employers in case of every candidates or they are picking up randomly. Does any one of you have an idea about this.

Please leave your comments

thnx

Dear Friend,

I have read in this forum, some cases got refused due to the reason that they were not able to verify the documents submitted; so we'll keep the fingures crossed, but HO have certain agencies working for them this is what i understand by reading a number of posts and sometimes they call and ask for the applicant in native language, they ring to the numbers u supply with your application: those are on letter heads, brochers or catalogs of company you worked for, which anyways you will be submitting as proof of the prowess of the company. So if possible try to check which numbers still work and if these numbers are still beign used by your previous employers, try to make them aware so that they may be able to support your evidences... Good Luck
